The Law Firm of Ahmed Dawood & Associates (AD&A), a BHC member law firm is one of Iraq’s leading law firms.  Iraqi owned and operated, AD&A has a team of highly qualified and highly experienced attorneys and consultants who are duly registered in the Iraq Bar Association to provide a broad range of legal and technical assistance to clients throughout Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region.

AD&A provides clients with one-stop-shop and multi-disciplinary solutions.  In addition to our full time staff, AD&A has a vast network of experts, consultants, technical advisors, and consulting firms that can be utilized to meet the needs of our clients.

Our Approach

Our firm structure is based on five law practice areas and consultancy units.  Each unit is headed by a senior AD&A lead attorney and / or consultant:

  3. Litigation, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution
  4. Taxation and labor Law
  5. Consultancy Services

Each client is assigned an Account Manager who is the single point of contact that will streamline all activities and ensure timely delivery of service.  The Account Manager works closely with the assigned lead lawyer or lead consultant specializing in the respective subject matter.

An integral part of our approach is to regularly ensure that all AD&A personnel have an understanding of applicable national and international standards of professional service delivery, ethics, and anti-corruption.  We continually provide the necessary staff training and maintain the proper internal compliance mechanisms in that regard.  Our quality control unit is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and best quality services.
